The coolers were set to maintain the ideal temperature of 10-12°C for beer storage. Once installed, we provided full training to John’s team, ensuring the system would run smoothly for years to come.
John, the landlord of The Cricketers and several other pubs in Southampton, faced an issue with his cellar cooling systems. They struggled to maintain consistent temperatures, which affected the quality of their draught beer and other beverages. As a business known for premium drinks, ensuring proper storage was crucial. John needed a solution that would maintain the right temperature, be efficient, and fit into the unique cellar spaces across his venues.
Each of his pubs had different cellar sizes and layouts. After discussing his needs, we recommended a solution tailored to each pub’s space. We installed J&E Hall split-system coolers, which offered effective cooling and minimal noise, as well as being a recognised and trusted brand.
We conducted a site survey at each location, designed the system to fit seamlessly, and installed it with minimal disruption. The coolers were set to maintain the ideal temperature of 10-12°C for beer storage. Once installed, we provided full training to John’s team, ensuring the system would run smoothly for years to come.
The results were clear: John noticed an improvement in drink quality, with fresh beer and beverages consistently served at the right temperature. The energy-efficient systems also reduced operating costs, which was important given the long hours the pubs are open. The systems proved to be reliable, with fewer breakdowns, and the compact design of the integral coolers helped maximise storage space.
We’re very happy with the service and results.
