We partnered with the M&E contractor to deliver a full climate control and ventilation solution for Anytime Fitness in Chippenham. This £75,000 commercial fit out required a fast turnaround, with the entire project quoted and installed within 4 weeks to meet the gym’s opening schedule.

Our team worked from the early planning stages, supporting the M&E design and advising on compliance with current building regulations. We carried out detailed site surveys to understand the building layout, existing services, and airflow requirements. We selected and supplied a Toshiba air conditioning system and a Toshiba mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) system tailored to the gym’s layout and energy targets.

The project demanded careful engineering to overcome several challenges.

• The limited space in the shower and changing areas required compact but powerful ventilation units and clever duct routing.
• A tight construction programme meant coordinating with builders, electricians, and other trades to keep the fit out on schedule without delays.

Once installed, we completed testing, commissioning, and full handover to ensure the systems were operating efficiently and safely. We also provided staff training on how to use and monitor the equipment to maintain a healthy environment for gym members.

The finished installation now delivers climate control and fresh air circulation throughout the gym 365 days a year. Members can work out no matter the weather outside, and the gym benefits from energy recovery technology that reduces running costs over time.

We continue to look after the system with an ongoing servicing and maintenance contract, ensuring everything runs smoothly and downtime is avoided.
